
CrossFit Games 2021 have arrived and many CrossFit Games 2021 competitors are thrilled. Along with the usual CrossFit Games competitions like those for men, there will also be events for women. Women are competing
The 2021 Crossfit Games women's competition opened this morning with a swim event. Jonne and Tia Claire Toomey-Orr won the first competition. Koski took the overall title after she held her lead through the entire competition. Tall and Eramooo O’Connell came second and three respectively. It was the first Games event by women. The women's side wanted to complete the podium.
The women's competition features top-level female athletes. Nine athletes are represented in the field, including a young Australian powerhouse who won last year's competition. Kara Saunders, an Australian athlete who finished second in Australia in the team division and eleventh overall in 2020 is another contender. Andrea Nisler, a rising star who competed for the team division in 2018, finished third in America and fifteenth overall in 2020. Aside from these athletes, the Women’s competition will also include a newcomer, Sara Sigmundsdottir, an Icelandan competitor, who won first place at the World Crossfit Games earlier.
Pegboard contest
Pegboard at Crossfit Games 2020 was a first. The Games added it to their summer Olympic program, along with double-unders (dumbbell overhead squats) and pegboard. Toomey-Orr, who won 30 games events, holds the record of most wins in one Games event. Sager won Event 11 men's and received his third Games win. There were several tie in the contest but Toomey Orr's dominance was too strong to stop him winning.

CrossFit Games training involves focusing on ten basic physical fitness skills: endurance, strength flexibility power speed and agility.
